Add olive oil and egg white to a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, about 1 minute, until the mixture is frothy and the olive oil is fully emulsified.
Then pour 2 ounces of gin, ½ ounce simple syrup, 1 ounce lemon juice in the same shaker.
Shake once again over ice, until frothy.
Strain and garnish with a fresh basil leaf.
