    bay leaves

    garlic cloves, peeled and smashed

    lemon zest

    orange zest

    lemon juice

    orange juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon /

    red pepper flakes

  • 3/4 cup /

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a shallow rimmed dish. Mix together to coat all the olives evenly.

Cover and place in the refrigerator and let sit for 1-2 days, stirring occasionally.

Before serving, remove the bay leaves and let olives sit at room temperature for around 30 minutes.

Enjoy marinated olives as an aperitivo or appetizer!
